1. Albert BONGERS was born on 20 August 1837 in Preussen (Prussia).^1,2 He emigrated about 1868 from Preussen (Prussia).³ He was Lutheran in 1872 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.⁴ He was one of the first seventeen charter members who formed St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church. Albert appeared in the census in 1880 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.¹ His occupation was listed as "Works Rail Road." He appeared in the census in 1910 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.⁵ His occupation was "Laborer, Comm. Labor." He died on 6 April 1915 at the age of 77 in Monroe County, WI.^2,6 Albert was buried in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.² in the Oak Grove Cemetery.

Albert BONGERS and Amelia "Emilie" KRUEGER were married in 1860 in Preussen (Prussia).^1,7 Amelia "Emilie" KRUEGER was born on 12 February 1841 in Preussen (Prussia).^1,7 (She may have been a sister of Wilhelmine (Krueger) Scholz.) She appeared in the census in 1880 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.¹ She appeared in the census in 1910 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.⁵ Emilie died on 18 May 1917 at the age of 76 in Watertown, Jefferson County, WI.⁷ She was buried in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.^7,8 in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
