Joseph died on 15 April 1686 at the age of 58 in Whitemarsh, Isle of Wight County, Virginia Colony, British Colonial America. He was buried in Whitemarsh, Isle of Wight County, Virginia Colony, British Colonial America. in the Bridger Family Cemetery at St. Lukes Church. He has Ancestral File Number L65S-HM3.
