He appeared in the census in 1920 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI. Lewis died on 9 March 1941 at the age of 85 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI. He was buried in 1941 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI. in the Oak Grove Cemetery.

Louis "Lewis" BROOKMAN and Louise "Lizzie" BRAND were married on 23 July 1882 in Monroe County, WI. Louise "Lizzie" BRAND, daughter of John BRAND and Mary P. UNKNOWN (BRAND), was born in October 1858 in Wisconsin. She appeared in the census in 1870 in Oakdale Township, Monroe County, WI. She appeared in the census in 1900 in Oakdale Township, Monroe County, WI. Lizzie appeared in the census in 1920 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI. She died in 1927 at the age of 69. She was buried in 1927 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI. in the Oak Grove Cemetery. (The FamilySearch.org website lists her maiden name as "Taff.')
