Oct. 20 0- (Special) - Mrs. William Hilliker, a well known resident of this city, died at her home here sunday morning, after a lingering illness with consumption. She had been confined to her bed for many months. The funeral will be held Tuesday afternoon from the residence." Isola Josephine "Tollie" DECKER and Edwin Wilson "Will" HILLIKER were married on 18 April 1888 in Monroe County, WI.7,12,13 Edwin Wilson "Will" HILLIKER, son of Andrew Jackson HILLIKER and Flavilla S. WOODARD, was born on 15 September 1865 in Ontario Province, Canada.7,13 He appeared in the census in 1900 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.8 His household was on Foster Street and his occupation was listed as "Day Labor, Railroad." They had 4 children, 3 of which were still living. He appeared in the census in 1910 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.9 His household was on Jackson Street and his occupation was listed as "Laborer." Will died on 15 October 1932 at the age of 67 in Ladysmith, Rusk County, WI.7,13 Obituary Notes: "Edwin Wilson Hilliker was born September 15, 1865 at Ontario, Canada and died on October 15, 1932, at Ladysmith. When a small child, he came to Wisconsin with his parents and spent most of his life in and around Tomah until about 1917, when he returned to Ladysmith where he remained until his death. On 18 Apr 1888 he was united in marriage with Miss Isola Decker. To this union eight children were born, two having died in infancy. His wife preceded him in death by eighteen years, on October 17, 1914. Those remaining to mourn his demise were his six children namely: Mrs. Katherine Cuggino of Iron Mountain, Michigan; Mrs. Bessie Wilson of Owen, Wisconsin; Mrs. Evelyn Bishop of St. Paul, Minnesota; Mrs. Grace Wilson and Edwin and Arthur Hilliker of Ladysmith. He also left two living brothers and three sisters, 17 grandchildren, and one great-grand child. Funeral services were conducted from the Methodist Episcopal Church of this city, Rev. R.
