He farmed in the Town of Tomah. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the Tomah American Legion. He is survived by his widow, Deloris, two sons, Gary of Tomah and T.J., at home; four sisters, Mrs. Alfred (Bernice) Laudon, Mrs. Allen (Arlene) Betthauser and Mrs. Donald (Donnie) Kiefer, all of Tomah, and Mrs. June Thom of Milwaukee; and three brothers, Lyle of Merrill, Harold of Tomah and Robert of Wilton. Services will be Monday at 1:30 p.m. in Gloria Dei Lutheran Church with Rev. David Hoyme officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Tomah. Friends may call at the Ninneman Funeral Home, Tomah Sunday from 4 to 9 p.m. and Monday until 11 a.m. and at the church Monday from 1 p.m. until the service." Waege, 88 of Tomah passed peacefully on May 2, 2020 in Tomah. She was born on March 11, 1932 to Jon and Esther Becher. On Jan. 15, 1949, she was united in marriage to Frederick Waege in the Township of Ridgeville. Deloris enjoyed reading and cheering on her favorite football team the Green Bay Packers.
