Another source lists his birth place as New York. His marriage registration record for his marriage to Martha Bacon in Feb 1848 listed his age as 41, indicating a birth year of about 1806.) Hubbard Nelson DICKINSON and Eunice BRAYTON were married.^2,6 Eunice BRAYTON was born on 13 February 1810 in Lewis County, NY.^2,6 (Her name may have been Emma Brazton.( She died on 27 March 1847 at the age of 37 in Edwards Township, St. Lawrence County, NY.⁶ She died from "inflammation of the bowel," apparently from complications following the birth of her son Brayton.
