Leonard DINGER Sr. was born on 19 September 1834 in Eichstetten am Kaiserstuhl, Emmendingen District, Baden-Wurttemberg Province, Preussen (Prussia).1,4 He emigrated in 1854 from Preussen (Prussia).1 He appeared in the census in 1860 in Fennimore Township, Grant County, WI.16 He and his brother Augustus were living in the household of Coburn (?) Johnstone (?) and their occupation was "Farm Laborer." Leonard appeared in the census in 1870 in Sparta Township, Monroe County, WI.4 His occupation was "Farm Laborer." He died on 16 February 1919 at the age of 84 in Clam Falls, Polk County, WI.1 He was buried in Indian Creek, Polk County, WI.1 in the Lorain Cemetery.

Leonard DINGER Sr. and Louisa GAYLER were married about 1868.1,4,17 Louisa GAYLER1 was born in January 1841 in Baden-Wurttemberg Province, Preussen (Prussia).1,4 She emigrated in 1858 from Preussen (Prussia).1 She appeared in the census in 1870 in Sparta Township, Monroe County, WI.4
