He appeared in the census in 1880 in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI.⁹ Between 1901 and 1951 John was a Lutheran minister.⁵³ He died on 7 February 1947 at the age of 70.⁴

SIEGLER and Bertha HOGE, was born on 19 November 1876 in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI.¹³ She was baptized on 26 November 1876 in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI.¹³ at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church.
