EDGERTON was born on 2 November 1831 in Lebanon, New London County, CT.¹ She appeared in the census in 1850 in Jefferson Township, Jefferson County, WI.⁵ She appeared in the census in 1860 in Jefferson Township, Jefferson County, WI.¹¹ Caroline appeared in the census in 1870 in Jefferson Township, Jefferson County, WI.¹² She appeared in the census in 1880 in La Grange Township, Monroe County, WI.⁶ She appeared in the census in 1900 in La Grange Township, Monroe County, WI.¹³ She was living in the household of her son Clarence. Caroline appeared in the census in 1910 in La Grange Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁴ She was living with her son Clarence, who was listed as the Head of Household. He died before probably 1870 at the age of 45.¹²
