She was born in Elroy, WI, Sept. 7, 1910, to Charles and Florence (Parker) Friedl. She married De Wayne Miller on Dec. 15, 1928, in Madison. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in December of 1978. They lived in Madison, Norwalk, Sparta, Warrens, Richland Center and Tomah. She loved animals, especially dogs and cats. She was a member of St. Mary Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Tomah. Edna is survived by her daughter, Cleo (Gerald) Sullivan of Tomah; six grandchildren, Diane (Daniel) Holschbach of Shawano, Thomas (Allison) Sullivan of Des Moines, IA, Cathryn (Michael) Huey of Lafayette, CO, Barbara Sullivan of Arvada, CO, William (fiancee Jackie Williams) Sullivan of Westminster, CO, Linda Sullivan of Arvada, CO; seven great-grandchildren, Zachary (Pati) Holschbach, Hillary (fiance’ Drew Adelman) Holschbach, Dylan Huey, Greta Sullivan, Emily Sullivan, Hannah Sullivan and Riley Sullivan; two brothers, James (Virginia) Friedl and Robert Friedl; two sisters, Hazel Imhoff and Bertha (Virgil) Fowler; a sister-in-law, Betty Friedl, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death her parents; five brothers, Floyd, Gifford, John, Russell and Norman; a sister, Margaret Johnson; sisters-in-law, Dorothy, Lucille, Mildred, Luella, Anne and Agnes and brothers-in-law, Harry Imhoff and Forrest Johnson. A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Tuesday, May 15, at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Tomah. The Very Rev. Steven J. Kachel officiated. Visitation was held from 9 a.m. until the time of service at the church with a luncheon following. Entombment was held at the Forest Hill Mausoleum, 1 Speedway Road, Madison, following the services in Tomah. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be given to the St. Mary Catholic Church building fund or to Hospice Touch of Tomah Memorial Hospital, 321 Butts Ave., Tomah, WI. The Torkelson Funeral Home of Tomah assisted the family with arrangements."
