He appeared in the census in 1930 in Seattle, King County, WA.¹⁷⁶ His occupation was "Proprietor, Restaurant." Ed died on 29 June 1951 at the age of 70 in Seattle, King County, WA.⁸⁴ He was buried in King County, WA.⁹¹ in the Lake Forest Park Cemetery.
