After 1907 Mae was a school teacher in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.²⁴² She died on 22 January 1965 at the age of 78 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.^6,78,97 (She may have died in Marshfield, WI.) She was buried in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.²⁴³ in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
