Obituay Notes: "Anna Couling was born near Harvard in McHenry County, Illinois, August 15, 1859, and came with her parents to Tomah in 1868. She was married to Willard C. Goff on July 7, 1877, and lived on a farm north of this city until about 12 years ago, when they moved to Wyeville, where they have since resided.

On the morning of November 15, 1922, after an illness of a few weeks, Mrs. goff was called from her earthly home to the home where pain shall never enter.

She leaves to mourn her loss, her husband, two sons George F. and William W. of Tomah, and one daughter, Mrs. Mamie A. Jorgenson of Wyeville.

Funeral services were held Friday afternoon, November 17, from the Methodist church in Tomah. The funeral services were attended by a large gathering of friends and old neighbors; and the floral offerings were many, and very beautiful. Mrs. Goff was one who lived a life of service and love; she was a kind and affectionate mother, a faithful wife and a friend to all. She was loved by all who knew her.

Her air, her smile, her motions told,
Of womanly completeness;
A music as of household songs,
was in her voice of sweetness.

Those attending the funeral from out of town were: Mr. and Mrs. Lou Moore, Kendall; Thomas Moore, Mindora; Mrs. Emory Allen and Mr. Glen Noble of Cheteck; Mr. and Mrs. William Sweet, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Sweet, and Mrs. Charles Cavanaugh of Adams; besides a large number from Wyeville, and the country about Tomah." She was buried on 17 November 1922 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.4,34,57 in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
