He appeared in the census in 1830 in Savoy, Berkshire County, MA.18 Simeon died on 27 July 1846 at the age of 92 in Savoy, Berkshire County, MA.7,17

Notes of Joe Lavelle: "I was in the vicinity of Savoy today so went to the Ingraham Cemetery and the news is not good. It is a small unattended cemetery with half the stones either over or on the way to falling. I couldn't find the Simeon Goff stone but did see a D.A.R. flag holder and flag sticking up from a overgrown area of goldenrods and thorny vines. I took a photo of it and waded in through the jungle and found no stone. It is probably there partially buried but it was pretty wet and I didn't have any tools to clear the area. The rear of the cemetery was the worst and that's where the D.A.R. flag and holder were, the front 3/4s had been cut earlier this year but most stones were surrounded by brush. There was a stone for Simeon Goff who died Dec. 7, 1851 ae 67 yrs.

Near that stone was a Goff Monument:

Lewis Goff d. Feb 17, 1897 ae 79 yrs
Maria M. his wife d. Mar 27, 1898 ae 63 yrs
Fred L. d. Sept 25,, 1896 ae 24 yrs

Willard S. d. Apr 12, 1854 ae 1 yr
George W. d. Jan 4, 1871 ae 14 yrs 7 mo
Children of E.W. & C.S. Goff

Elijah W. d. Dec 12, 1883 ae 68 yrs
Charlotte S. his wife d. Nov 24, 1870 ae 43 yrs 1 mo

Simeon d. Nov 6, 1852 ae 67 yrs 3 mo
Sarah his wife d. Sept 13, 1867 ae 83 yrs 9 mo

The above data was at the Berkshire Athenaeum and I checked the stele and it agreed with what I could make out as age has taken it's toll on the inscribing. Whoever surveyed that cemetery was accurate on that stele, so July 27, 1846 is probably correct for Simeon's death date."

He was buried in Savoy, Berkshire County, MA.17 in the Ingraham Cemetery.
