GOFF was born in April 1856 in Wisconsin.⁴ She appeared in the census in 1860 in Randolph Township, Columbia County, WI.⁴¹ She appeared in the census in 1870 in Lincoln Township, Monroe County, WI.³⁵ Ella appeared in the census in 1880 in Lincoln Township, Monroe County, WI.³⁸ She appeared in the census in 1900 in Lincoln Township, Monroe County, WI.³⁶ She appeared in the census in 1920 in Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.⁴³ Ella died in 1926 at the age of 70 in Lincoln Township, Monroe County, WI.⁴ She was buried in 1926 in Lincoln Township, Monroe County, WI.^4,40 in the Lincoln-Patterson-Kirby Cemetery.

Ella F. GOFF and Hubert "Hugh" FINNIGAN were married on 11 November 1877 in Monroe County, WI.⁴ Hubert "Hugh" FINNIGAN was born in May 1848 in Ireland.⁴ (The Cemetery records indicate that he was 60 years old when he died in 1904. He may have been born in 1844.) He died on 29 February 1904 at the age of 55.^4,40 He was buried in Lincoln Township, Monroe County, WI.^4,40 in the Lincoln-Patterson-Kirby Cemetery.
