31. Doris Marie RASCH was born on 15 August 1918.⁶⁸ She died on 26 January 2014 at the age of 95 in Madison, Dane County, WI.⁶⁹

Obituary Notes: "Doris (Halliger) Allen, 95, of Verona, and formerly of Mesa, Ariz., Mather, and Tomah passed away peacefully Sunday, Jan. 26, 2014, at the University Hospital of Madison.

She was a farm girl, the proprietor of the Mather Pool Hall, nurse’s aide and wonderful mother and grandmother. Doris possessed a contagious mischievous smile and an entertaining sense of humor. She enjoyed cards and games of all kinds, crocheting, knitting, painting woodworking and helping out neighbors.

She is survived by a brother, Roy (Betty) Rasch of Tomah; a son, Tom Halliger of Slidell, La.; three daughters, Jane Clelland of Slidell, La., Cindy Noble of Sparta, Sally Weihert of Madison, Wis.; and son-in-law, Glenn Weihert; five grandchildren, Steven, Layla, Thomas, Jodie and Chelsey; and three great-grandchildren, Damien, Nicole and Deyson; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Doris will be greatly missed by friends and family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Della Rasch; her husband, Ernest; a son, Jim; and sisters, Gen and Irene; a granddaughter, Sherry; a grandson, Keith; and son-in-law, Charlie.

A memorial service will be held at noon Saturday, June 21, at First United Methodist Church, 1105 Butts Ave., Tomah."

Doris Marie RASCH and Ernest John HALLIGER were married on 25 June 1937.⁶⁸ Ernest John HALLIGER, son of Ernest HALLIGER and Anna SCHROEDER, was born on 28 April 1907 in Monroe County, WI.⁶⁸ He died on 8 December 1980 at the age of 73.⁶⁸ He was buried in Mather, Kingston Township, Juneau County, WI.⁶⁸ in the Pine Grove Cemetery.
