39. Ella Elora JENNINGS was born on 27 August 1883 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.^18,25,58 She graduated in 1900 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.⁶⁷ from Tomah High School. She appeared in the census in 1900 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.⁵⁸ Ella appeared in the census in 1910 in Portland, Multnomah County, OR.¹¹⁰ She was a "Lodger" and her occupation was "Stenographer, Grocery."

. ¹¹¹ In a post card to her first cousin, Eva (Root) Griggs in Tunnel City, she wrote: "Have been here in Reedsburg for two or three days visiting Elsie (?) Root. Sorry I didn't get to see you the day you were in Tomah. I waited a while for you to phone. Then we went on. Thought maybe you might be at the Fair, but it wasn't much to see. Hope you are all well. Ella."

The year is not clear on the post card, but it would have been written after Eva married in June 1908 (because it was addressed to "Mrs. Sam Griggs") and prior to her death in December 1921.

. She appeared in the census in 1920 in Stevens Point, Portage County, WI.¹¹² She was a "Roomer" in the household of John and Agnes Reichert and her occupation was "Chief Clerk, Normal School."

She cannot be located in the 1930 or 1940 Census'.

. She died on 17 June 1961 at the age of 77 in New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada.²⁵ Ella was buried in Kenora, Kenora District, Ontario, Canada.²⁵

Ella Elora JENNINGS and Glenn MCCLATCHIE were married on 12 September 1921 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.^25,66,113 They lived in Canada. (He cannot be located in the 1920, 1930 or 1940 Census.) Glenn MCCLATCHIE, son of James MCCLATCHIE and Cornelia TEMPLE, was born on 7 August 1881 in Plainville, Adams County, WI.^25,58 He appeared in the census in 1900 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.⁵⁸ He graduated in 1900 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.¹¹³ from Tomah High School. Glenn appeared in the census in 1910 in Interior Township, Ontonagon County, WI.¹¹⁴ He was a "Boarder" in a logging camp and his occupation was "Post Master, General Store."

. He died on 6 April 1938 at the age of 56 in North Norfolk Municipality, Manitoba, Canada.²⁵ He was buried in Kenora, Kenora District, Ontario, Canada.²⁵
