In the record for his son Friedrich, it is spelled "Koepke.") He appeared in the census in 1870 in Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.⁸ He appeared in the census in 1880 in Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.⁵ His occupation was "Farmer." Fred was Lutheran in 1889 in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI.⁹ He and his family are listed in the Communion Register of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church. He died on 25 August 1899 at the age of 70 in Monroe County, WI.^7,10 (Must confirm that this is his date of death.) He was buried in Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.¹¹ in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
