He emigrated in July 1887 from Posen Province, Preussen (Prussia).^{2,3,5,10,12,16} with his parents to Cataract, WI. (The 1900 Census listed his year of emigration as 1886, but the 1920 listed it as 1887.) He appeared in the census in 1900 in Little Falls Township, Monroe County, WI.⁵ He was living with his mother and siblings and his occupation was "Farm Laborer." Jule appeared in the census in 1910 in Grant Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁷ His household was next to that of his brother Rudolph, his surname was listed as "Keen," and his occupation was "Farmer, General Farm." He appeared in the census in 1920 in Leon Township, Monroe County, WI.^12,18 His household was next to that of his brother Rudolph and his occupation was "Farming, General." Julius William "Jule" KEENE and Orpha Adelade IGGULDEN were married on 10 May 1906 in Warrens, Lincoln Township, Monroe County, WI.^{2,16,20,21,22,23} Orpha Adelade IGGULDEN, daughter of George Pecham IGGULDEN and Elizabeth BARBER, was born on 1 July 1888 in Vernon County, WI.¹⁶ She appeared in the census in 1910 in Grant Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁷ She appeared in the census in 1920 in Leon Township, Monroe County, WI.¹² Orpha appeared in the census in 1930 in Leon Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁰ She died on 13 July 1966 at the age of 78 in Sparta, Sparta Township, Monroe County, WI.^2,6
