Hazel Mae SHUTTER and Wade Z. ARITY-GOFF were married in 1917.^51,156 Wade Z. ARITY-GOFF, son of Charles David ARITY and Christina GRESCHEIMER, was born on 13 January 1891 in Kirby, Lincoln Township, Monroe County, WI.^{51,60,156,157,158,159} Wade was the son of Charles David Arity and his wife, Christina. His mother died a few weeks after he was born, and he was taken by Charles' first cousin, Mary Frances Lamb, and her husband, Wilna Goff, who raised him. Wade later changed his surname to Goff. He appeared in the census in 1900 in Lincoln Township, Monroe County, WI.³⁸ (He was living with Wilmer and Mary Goff, and was listed as "adopted.") He appeared in the census in 1910 in Lincoln Township, Monroe County, WI.⁴⁹ He was listed as the "adopted son" of Wilna and Mary Frances Goff.
