Roy H. BROWN was born on 22 March 1945 in Wyeville, Byron Township, Monroe County, WI.168 He died on 22 April 2021 at the age of 76 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.168

Obituary Notes: "Roy H. Brown, 76, of Tomah passed away peacefully Thursday, April 22, 2021 at home. He was born March 22, 1945 to Howard Brown and Sylvia (Lamb) Brown in the township of Wyeville. Roy was raised by his grandmother Carrie Lamb after the death of his mother when he was 7 months old.

Roy joined the Army in 1964 where he served as a Spec 4 class E4 Draftsman and was stationed in Germany. While stationed in Germany he met Erika Schumacher. They were united in marriage on March 10, 1967 in Stuttgart Bad Cannstatt, Germany. Roy was discharged from the services in September 1967 and was awarded a National Defense Medallion.

Roy worked many places over the years from managing at various Midas/CarX locations to eventually returning home to open his own auto repair business. When he closed up shop he went to work at the VA as a nursing assistant where he worked until he retired.

Roy loved witty banter and was sure to keep you on your toes with his spunky playful personality. He really enjoyed camping and spending time outside. Bird watching and watching the squirrels play in his yard was a favorite past time of his. He greatly enjoyed playing cards and dice with family and friends. Roy had a loving and caring personality,  and you could always recognize him by his strong personality. He will be deeply missed by his wife Erika and all that knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years Erika Brown of Tomah and his son William (Corinna) Schumacher of Germany.

Roy was proceeded in death by his parents Howard and Sylvia, and all 20 of his Aunts and Uncles in which he considered them to be his siblings. A celebration of life will be held at a later date."
