He was born June 16, 1946, to Gilbert and Leona (Steege) Lamb. He was married to Alice (Callaway) Stillwell for nine years. He worked for American Motors Corp. prior to being self-employed as an auto body repairman for many years and most recently for Shaw’s Auto. Duane was known for his generosity and goodwill toward any one in need. He is survived by his fiancée, Donna Ziegler Garrison of Waukegan, Ill.; her children, Jennifer (John) McMahon of St. Louis and Erik (Becky) Garrison of Winthrop Harbor, Ill.; his three daughters, Brenda (the Rev. Rick) Crisman of Griffith, Ind., Bernice (Lonnie) Mattos of Milwaukee and Bobbie Jo (Tim) Williams of Cheyenne, Wyo.; his father, Gilbert of Black River Falls, Wis.; 13 grandchildren; two brothers, Harold of Oregon and William of Tomah, Wis.; five sisters, Beverly (Donald) Hartlein of Port Charlotte, Fla., Rosena (Larry) Babcock of Klamath Falls, Ore., Rita (Michael) Jasinki of Warrens, Elizabeth (Dwight) Hegg and Arlys (Kenneth) Fulton, both of Black River Falls; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother; two brothers, Frederick and Gilbert Jr.; and a sister, Marie Meacham. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Open Door Baptist Church, 7294 Hwy. O, Tomah, Wis. The Rev. Rick Crisman will officiate. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery in the town of Scott, Wis. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the church on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
