Lucy R. REED (`~) and Abraham Lincoln JONES were married on 6 September 1886 in South Branch Township, Otoe County, NE.¹¹

After her husband died, she and the children moved to California to be near her sister. Abraham Lincoln JONES, son of George Washington JONES and Lucinda Mariah GIBBS, was born on 20 August 1861 in Marion, Linn County, IA.^129,131,132 (His given name is believed to have been spelled "Abram," but he was listed as "L. Abraham" in the 1900 Census.) He appeared in the census in 1900 in Bloomfield, Morton Township, Knox County, NE.¹³¹ His occupation was listed as "Farm Laborer." He died on 26 March 1910 at the age of 48 in Lebanon, Laclede County, MO.¹³² Abraham was buried in Lebanon, Laclede County, MO.¹³² in the Lebanon City Cemetery.

Clifford lived and had country store and post office in Redwater, McCone County, MT after 1923.¹³⁴ He sent water color painting materials to his niece Marita, which she used to start painting.
