"Frank" LIERSCH was born in March 1857 in Wisconsin.^4,10 About 1893 he was a farmer in Dorset Ridge, Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.¹¹ He appeared in the census in 1900 in Clifton Township, Monroe County, WI.⁴ Frank appeared in the census in 1930 in Clifton Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁰ He was living with his son Walter and was listed as a "Widower.".

Franz C. "Frank" LIERSCH and Ottilia MEIER were married on 23 June 1883 in Monroe County, WI.^4,7,11 (According to the 1900 Census, they had 9 children, of whom 6 were living at the time.) Ottilia MEIER, daughter of (Unknown) MEIER and (Unknown) UNKNOWN (MEIER), was born in April 1857 in Germany.⁴ (Her given name may have been spelled "Otilia.") She emigrated in 1882 from Germany.⁴ She appeared in the census in 1900 in Clifton Township, Monroe County, WI.⁴ Ottilia died before 1930 at the age of 73.¹⁰
