August Heinrich Friedrich LUECK was born on 15 March 1876 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.^5,6 He was baptized on 17 April 1876 in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI.⁶ at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church. He appeared in the census in 1880 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.² August appeared in the census in 1900 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.⁵ He was a "Boarder" in the household of Augustus and Etta "Leak," and his occupation was "Bar Tender." He appeared in the census in 1910 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.⁷ His surname was listed as "Leak" and his occupation was "Proprietor, Saloon."
He died in 1957 at the age of 81.⁹ August was buried in 1957 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.⁹ in the Oak Grove Cemetery.

August Heinrich Friedrich LUECK and Aubertine "Leah" STEWART were married about 1905.^4,7 Aubertine "Leah" STEWART⁴ was born about 1885 in Wisconsin.⁷ She appeared in the census in 1910 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.⁷ She died in 1970 at the age of 85.⁹ Leah was buried in 1970 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.⁹ in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
