PARLOW, daughter of Rudolph August PARLOW and Ida Matilda ZILLMER, was born on 5 June 1916 in Little Falls Township, Monroe County, WI.44 She died on 3 June 2012 at the age of 95 in Dousman, Waukesha County, WI.44 Obituary Notes: "Esther A. Matzke, 95, of Dousman and formerly of Tomah, died Sunday, June 3, 2012, at Three Pillars, Dousman. She was born June 5, 1916, to Rudolph and Edith “Ida” (Zellmer) Parlow in Little Falls. On June 13, 1934, Esther was united in marriage to Edward Matzke at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, Tomah. She worked for 25 years at Fort McCoy and many years at the creamery. She was a member of Good Shepherd’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, West Allis, from 1984 to 2012. Esther was a past member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, Tomah, from 1932 to 1984. She enjoyed violets, cardinals, sewing, cooking, baking, canning, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren, great- and great-great-grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter, Evelyn (George) Biegel of West Allis; seven grandchildren, Jeanette, Frank, Sandy, Lynne, Sherri, Kathy and Cindy; 14 great-grandchildren, Destiny, Lisa, Brian, Amber, Derek, Erica, Gloria, Vicki, JoAnne, Trisha, Jackie, Walter, Ebony and Romella; eight great-great-grandchildren, including triplet boys; a sister-in-law, Angie Parlow of Oak Forest, Ill.; nieces; nephews; other relatives; and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Ed; daughter Ellen (Tootie); sisters Elsie and Minnie; five brothers, Elmer, Louis, Herman, Vernon and Marvin Parlow; sisters-in-law Amelia, Edna and Iona Parlow; and a brother-in-law, Arnold. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 9, 2012, at 1 p.m. at the Sonnenburg Family Funeral Home, 801 E. Monowau St., Tomah. Pastor Donald R. Buch will officiate.
