William MCMULLEN Sr. was born on 18 March 1829 in County Down, Northern Ireland.^1,3,15,18 He emigrated in 1847 from Northern Ireland.¹ He appeared in the census in 1850 in Kingston Township, Ulster County, NY.⁴ He was living with his parents. About 1860 William was a farmer in Greenfield Township, Monroe County, WI.³ He appeared in the census in 1860 in Greenfield Township, Monroe County, WI.³ He appeared in the census in 1870 in Lincoln Township, Monroe County, WI.⁵ William appeared in the census in 1880 in La Grange Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁵ He died on 1 April 1899 at the age of 70.^18,19 He was buried in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.^8,18 in the Oak Grove Cemetery.

William MCMULLEN Sr. and Martha FINLEY were married on 7 December 1852 in Rondout, Kingston Township, Ulster County, NY.^{1,18,19,20,21} Martha FINLEY, daughter of Thomas FINLEY and Mary FEE, was born on 16 March 1834 in Ireland.^1,3,19 She appeared in the census in 1870 in Lincoln Township, Monroe County, WI.⁵ She died on 4 October 1915 at the age of 81 in La Grange Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁹ Martha was buried in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.^8,19 in the Oak Grove Cemetery.

Brice MCMULLEN was born on 25 July 1876 in La Grange Township, Monroe County, WI.^15,22 He served in the military about 1898 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.²³ as a Private in Company K of the 3rd Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry. His unit served in Puerto Rico, leaving on April 28th, 1898 and returning home on September 18th, 1898. The unit was based in the Winnebago County area of Wisconsin. He died on 20 February 1903 at the age of 26 in Monroe County, WI.^8,22,24 Brice was buried in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.⁸ in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
