Virgil Fredrich "Virge" MCNUTT was born on 6 September 1920 in Warrens, Lincoln Township, Monroe County, WI.^38,58 He was a member of the First Baptist Church about 1926 in Warrens, Lincoln Township, Monroe County, WI.⁵⁵ He appeared in the census in 1930 in Warrens, Lincoln Township, Monroe County, WI.²⁵ Virge graduated in 1938 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI. from Tomah High School. He served in the military between 1944 and 1951 in Guam. He served in the Army during and after World War II. He died on 12 March 1983 at the age of 62 in Bullhead City, Mohave County, AZ.^38,58 of a massive heart attack.

Obituary Notes: "Services for Virgil F. McNutt, 62, of West Allis and formerly of Warrens, were held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in St. Mary's Catholic Church in Tomah. The Rev. Frank Hillesheim officiated and burial was in the Warrens Cemetery. McNutt died Sat., March 12, in Bullhead City, Ariz., while on a trip.

He was born on Sept. 6, 1920, to Francis "Frank" and Florence "Nellie" (Frink) McNutt. He married Leona Fabian on Dec 22, 1956. The couple had lived in West Allis for the past 26 years. McNutt was employed by the Harnischfeger Corp. prior to his retirement in 1978.

Survivors are his wife; two daughters, Renee McNutt and Mrs. Kirk (Debra) Gregg, both of Milwaukee; four grandchildren; five sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Phillips of West Salem, Mrs. Vera Gray of Nekoosa, Audrey Lobenstein of Portage and Mrs. Erna Mee and Mrs. LaVon Mittlestadt, both of Tomah. He was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters. The White Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements." Virge was buried on 17 March 1983 in Warrens, Lincoln Township, Monroe County, WI.^28,58 in the Warren Mills Cemetery.

Virgil Fredrich "Virge" MCNUTT and Leona Rose FABIAN were married on 22 December 1956.^38,58 Leona Rose FABIAN, daughter of August FABIAN and Kathryn HANSEN, was born on 29 September 1920 in Irving Township, Jackson County, WI.^51,59,60 She appeared in the census in 1930 in Irving Township, Jackson County, WI.⁵⁹

Virgil Fredrich "Virge" MCNUTT and Leona Rose FABIAN had the following children:
