It also listed her age as 11, which would have put her birth date at March 1889.) She was christened on 11 August 1889 in Grand Rapids Township, Wood County, WI.¹⁵ at Immanuel Lutheran Church. Her sponsors were Sophie Muller and Wilhelmine Muller. She appeared in the census in 1900 in Grand Rapids Township, Wood County, WI.⁹ Mabe appeared in the census in 1905 in Grand Rapids Township, Wood County, WI.¹³ She appeared in the census in 1910 in Grand Rapids Township, Wood County, WI.¹⁰ She was living with her parents.
