Obituary Notes: "Mrs. Ella Mails Cronk, wife of Lyle Cronk, 930 Eleventh Street, died suddenly at 8:30 o'clock Friday evening. She was attending a shower for her daughter at the home of a friend when she was stricken with a heart attack. She was taken to Beloit hospital in the city ambulance and was pronounced dead on arrival.

Mrs. Cronk was born in Wisconsin Rapids, March 24, 1895, and came to Beloit in 1912. She was married to Lyle Cronk, June 23, 1923 in this city. She was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church, its Altar Society and the Royal Neighbors of America.

Surviving are the husband; two daughters, Lyla and Shirley Cronk at home; a brother, Alfred Mails, Chicago; and two sisters, Mrs. Abner Atwood, Wisconsin Rapids, and Mrs. Fred Neitzel, Tomah.

Funeral services will be held at 8:45 a.m. Monday in the E. A. Daley funeral home and at 9 a.m. in St. Thomas Catholic church, the Rev. Thomas O'Reilley officiating. Burial will be in Calvary cemetery. Rosary will be recited at 4:30 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home."
