Edwin Louis EIRSCHELE was born on 27 July 1906 in Monroe County, WI.8,9 He appeared in the census in 1910 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.9 He appeared in the census in 1930 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.13 His household was at 913 Hollister Avenue and his occupation was "Laborer, General Work." Edwin died before August 2015 at the age of 109.39

Edwin Louis EIRSCHELE and Dallas M. VADER were married on 23 August 1934.39 Dallas M. VADER was born on 1 May 1916 in Chicago, Cook County, IL.39 She died on 9 August 2015 at the age of 99 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.39

Obituary Notes: "Dallas M. Eirschele, 99, of Tomah went to Heaven to be with Jesus and the Blessed Virgin Mary Sunday, Aug. 9, 2015, surrounded by her family at the Greenfield House in Tomah, where she had resided for the past three years. Dallas was born May 1, 1916, in Chicago, to Sherman and Mae (Schmidt) Vader, and at a young age moved to the Clifton area. At the age of seven, she and her family moved to Tomah, where she remained a resident her entire life. Dallas graduated from Tomah High School. She married Edwin Eirschele Aug. 23, 1934. They had two children, Richard Eirschele and Geraldine Tralmer.

Dallas was employed for several years as a nursing assistant at Tomah Memorial Hospital. She then became a dietetic aid at Tomah Veterans Hospital until her retirement at the age of 65. She has been a faithful member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church since her marriage, and has also served on several guilds during that time. She was recognized by the church with a plaque. Dallas has been a member of the VFW ladies auxiliary for 70 years, a volunteer for the bloodmobile for 20 years. Dallas was active in the Tomah Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, especially the store. Dallas’ greatest joy was to pick strawberries for her friends and family and help others in anyway possible.

She is survived by her children, Richard Eirschele and Geraldine Tralmer; six grandchildren, Sherry (Kurt) Millin, Charles Eirschele, Mark Eirschele, Cindy Eirschele, Rick Eirschele and Melissa (Troy) Andrist; numerous great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; her brother, Ray (Ruth) Eirschele; a sister-in-law, Ruth Eirschele; her brothers-in-law, Alton (Judy) Eirschele and Victor (Marilee) Eirschele; many nieces, nephews; other relatives; and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin; her parents, Sherman Vader, Mae Vader Eirschele and Edward Eirschele; a daughter-in-law, Arlene Eirschele; a grandson, Paul Tralmer; and siblings, Irmadelle Grant, Robert Eirschele and Claira Mae Heimsch.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 13, 2015, at Queen of the Apostles Parish, St. Mary’s Church, Tomah. Father Clayton Elmhorst will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Tomah. Family and friends are invited for visitaiton from 4 to 7 p.m., with a 4 p.m. rosary, Wednesday, Aug. 12, at Torkelson Funeral Home, Tomah. Family and friends are also invited for visitation 10 a.m. until the time of service Thursday at the church.

Her aim in life was to share and enjoy each day with the help of God. Her motto was “I pass this way but once so if there is any goodness or kindness that I can do, let me do it now.” To Dallas, a day was not complete without a laugh."
