2. James Henry MURDOCK was born on 28 April 1858 in Killinchy, County Down, Northern Ireland.^1,2 He emigrated on 28 May 1884 from Ireland.¹ He died on 27 April 1939 at the age of 80.^1,2,3 James was buried in Warrens, Lincoln Township, Monroe County, WI.² in the Warren Mills Cemetery.

James Henry MURDOCK and Melissa Sadie HULETT were married on 3 May 1896.^4,5 Melissa Sadie HULETT, daughter of Warren O. HULETT and Martha Louise ELMER, was born on 23 January 1881 in Columbus, Columbia County, WI.^1,2,4,5 She died on 24 April 1971 at the age of 90 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.^1,2,4,5 She was buried on 27 April 1971 in Warrens, Lincoln Township, Monroe County, WI.^2,5 in the Warren Mills Cemetery.
