She held various jobs at the Rexall Drug Store, Wisconsin Power and Light, Camp McCoy and Johnson’s Shoe Store. Lollie enjoyed bowling into her 80s and had received many honors throughout her bowling career. She cherished the friendships made with the younger bowlers within her bowling league, and her hairstylist, Beth Knapp. She is survived by her sister, Betty (Arnie) Gilbertson of Tomah; a special nephew, Scott (Michelle) Gilbertson and their children, Jordan and Noah of Texas; a special niece, Lisa Rihn of New Lisbon; nieces, Judy (John) Esser of Merrill and Barb (Rueben) Foth of Crystal Lake, IL; a brother-in-law, Leslie (Marcy) Reech of Elroy, and sister-in-law, Sandy Cilley; many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Earl Ditlefsen and Bobby Burchell; her son, Dennis Ditlefsen, and a sister-in-law, Barb Spohn. Funeral services were held today (Monday), April 5, at 11 a.m. at the Torkelson Funeral Home in Tomah. A private family burial will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery at a later date. He was born June 27, 1927, in Hillsboro. He served in the United States Marines during WWII. Bob was united in marriage to LaVera “Lollie” Wildes on Aug. 25, 1954, in Tomah. He worked as a nursing assistant at the Tomah VA Medical Center for 40 years until his retirement. Bob enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling and spending the summers at their cottage at Spring Bank. He was a member of NARFE, DAV and Tomah American Legion Post #201. He is survived by his wife, Lollie of Tomah; a brother, Leslie (Marcy) Reech of Hillsboro; a sister, Sandra Cilley of Mauston; a sister-in-law, Betty (Arnie) Gilbertson of Tomah; a special nephew, Scott (Michelle) Gilbertson of Texas; numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
