Martha NICKE was born in 1886 in Germany.^7,12 She emigrated in 1893 from Germany.² She appeared in the census in 1900 in Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.² Martha appeared in the census in 1920 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.⁷ She died in 1979 at the age of 93.¹² She was buried in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁶ in the Oak Grove Cemetery.

Martha NICKE and Herman E. KUPPER were married in 1910.^1,12 Herman E. KUPPER, son of Karl KUPPER and Helena LABUDE, was born in 1882 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.^12,17 He appeared in the census in 1910 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁵ He was a hired man, living at the household of Fred and Minnie Ziegler, the sister of his future wife, Martha. He appeared in the census in 1920 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.⁷ Before 1961 Herman was a Home builder. He died in 1961 at the age of 79.^12,17 He was buried in 1961 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.^16,17 in the Oak Grove Cemetery.

22	ii.	Irene KUPPER was born on 20 February 1906.¹⁶ She died on 18 March 1907 at the age of 1.¹⁶ She was buried in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁶ in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
23	iii.	Robert Harold "Bob" KUPPER was born on 24 June 1911 in Monroe County, WI.^1,8,10,16 He appeared in the census in 1920 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.⁷ He graduated in 1928 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁸ from Tomah High School. Robert died on 28 February 1996 at the age of 84 in Sparta, Sparta Township, Monroe County, WI.^10,16 He was buried in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁶ in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
