Minnie Auguste NICKE was born on 18 November 1882 in Daubitz, Rothenburg, Schlesien (Silesia), Nordrhein-Westfalen Province, Preussen (Prussia).¹⁰ She emigrated in 1893 from Germany.² She appeared in the census in 1900 in Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.² Minnie appeared in the census in 1920 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.⁷ She died on 19 June 1968 at the age of 85 in West Bend, Washington County, WI.¹⁰ She was buried in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.¹¹ in the Oak Grove Cemetery.

Minnie Auguste NICKE and Fredrick "Fred" ZIEGLER were married.^1,10,12 Fredrick "Fred" ZIEGLER was born on 2 February 1879 in Bayern (Bavaria) Province, Preussen (Prussia).^13,14 He appeared in the census in 1910 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁵ He died on 7 September 1915 at the age of 36.¹³ after being shot while hunting.
