He was baptized on 6 August 1899.¹³⁶ at the home of his parents. He appeared in the census in 1900 in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁵ Barney appeared in the census in 1905 in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI.⁴¹ He appeared in the census in 1910 in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI.²⁵ He appeared in the census in 1920 in Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.²⁷ (He was listed as "Alvin.") Barney appeared in the census in 1930 in Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.⁵¹ He appeared in the census in 1940 in Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.⁷⁷ According to the Census, he had completed 3 years of high school and his occupation was "Laborer, Farm." He died on 29 January 1967 at the age of 67 in Madison, Dane County, WI.^63,69,71,86 Obituary Notes: "Eldon Noth, 67, of Madison, died at his home Jan. 29 of a heart attack. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Fred Noth of Tomah. He was born July 20, 1899, on a farm near Ridgeville. He worked his father's farm until 1952 and then moved to Madison and was employed at the Oscar Mayer Meat Packing Plant, where he took his retirement at the age of 65.

He was married to Cecelia Koehler, April 28, 1928. He is survived by his wife, one niece, Miss Frances Reisenauer of England, and one nephew, Frederick Reisenauer, of Minnesota.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Noth, and one sister, Mrs. Frank Reisenauer.

Funeral services were held at 2 P.M. February 1 at the Gloria Dei church in Tomah, with Rev. Geo. A. Robertson officiating. Burial was in the Mount Vernon cemetery, Tomah."

Eldon Paul "Barney" NOTH and Cecelia KOEHLER were married on 28 April 1928.^63,71,138 Cecelia KOEHLER, daughter of Franz Wilhelm KOEHLER and Maria Regina SCHAPPE, was born on 22 September 1905 in Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.^63,86 She appeared in the census in 1910 in Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.²⁵ She appeared in the census in 1930 in Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.⁵¹ Cecelia appeared in the census in 1940 in Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.⁷⁷ She died on 27 September 1979 at the age of 74 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.^63,86,138 Obituary Notes: "Mrs. Cecelia Noth Coleman, 74, Tomah, died Thursday, Sept. 27, in her home. She was born Sept. 22, 1905, in Wilton, to Mr. and Mrs. Frank Koehler. She married Eldon Noth, April 28, 1928. He died January 28, 1967. She then married Bernard Coleman in 1969.

Survivors include six sisters, Mrs. Albert (Elsie) Wappler, Mrs. Alma Pergande and Mrs. Richard (Margaret) Cole, all of Tomah; Mrs. John (Clara) Labombarbe of Madison, Mrs. Wilma Kohl of New London and Mrs. Edna Dinger of Milwaukee.

Services were at 1:30 P.M. Sunday in the Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Tomah. The Rev. David Hoyme officiated and burial was in Mount Vernon Cemetery near Tomah." She was buried on 30 September 1979 in Jacksonville, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.^63,86,137 in the Mount Vernon Cemetery.
