126. Alice Ernstina VINCENZ was born on 8 May 1921 in Adrian Township, Monroe County, WI.^35,54,159 in Reels Valley. She appeared in the census in 1940 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.⁵⁷ She was a "Servant" in the household of Dr. Francis Graham at 610 Glendale Avenue. Her occupation was "Maid, Private Home." She appeared in the census in 1950 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.¹¹² Alice died on 30 May 1999 at the age of 78 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.³⁵ Obituary Notes: "Alice E. Witz, 78, of Tomah, died Sunday, May 30, 1999, at the Tomah Care Center. She was born May 8, 1921, to George and Matie (Kewit) Vincenz in the Township of Adrian, Monroe County, Wis. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith at St. John Ev. Lutheran Church, Ridgeville.

Prior to her retirement, Alice worked as a sales clerk at Schmitz Ready to Wear Clothing store in Tomah. She was a longtime and faithful member of St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church.

She is survived by two sisters, Lucille (Wilbert) Prise and Janet Zellmer, both of Tomah. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Allen; two sisters, Eunice Beltz and Ethelyn Pagliaroni; and a infant brother, Vilas Vincenz.

Funeral services were held at 2 P.M. Wednesday, June 2 at St. Paul Lutheran Church. Rev. Richard A. Waldschmidt officiated. Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery." She was buried on 2 June 1999 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.^35,59,86 in the Oak Grove Cemetery.

Alice Ernstina VINCENZ and Harry "Butch" WITZ Jr. were married on 3 January 1943 in Burbank, Santa Clara County, CA.¹⁴¹ They¹⁴¹ were divorced in 1957.¹⁴¹ Harry "Butch" WITZ Jr., son of Harry L. WITZ and Julia Helena HAASE, was born on 26 December 1920 in Illinois.^112,273 He served in the military about 1942.²⁷⁴ He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He appeared in the census in 1950 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.¹¹² His household was at 213 1/2 West Juneau Avenue, adjacent to that of his wife's brother, George. After 1951 Butch was an an owner of The Crow Bar in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.²⁷⁴ He and Bernard Barry purchased the business from Kieth Monroe in 1951. He died on 21 August 2011 at the age of 90 in Rice Lake, Barron County, WI.²⁷³
