He was living at 1410 Clarkson Street. Pib appeared in the census in April 1940 in Curtis Bay, Baltimore County, MD.⁵⁸ He was living with his parents and his occupation was "Crane Operator, Shipyard." The census indicated that he had completed only the 8th grade and his total wages in 1939 were $968. He lived in Baltimore (City), MD in 1956.⁵² His household was at 519 Gorsuch Avenue and his occupation was Electrician at Riggs Distler & Company.

Pib lived in Baltimore (City), MD in February 2000.⁷⁰ He died on 16 September 2012 at the age of 92 in Baltimore (City), MD.^44,109,113 Obituary Notes: "On September 16, 2012, WILBUR LEROY ACREE 'PIB' beloved husband of the late Rita Elizabeth Acree (nee Dunn); loving father of Rita Joy Craig, Leroy Acree and Gary C. Acree; beloved grandfather of several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. He is the last of five generations within the Acree family.

The family will receive friends at the McCully-Polyniak Funeral Home, 3204 Mountain Road (Pasadena) on Wednesday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
