12. Gerald Clarence "Baldy" ALDERMAN was born on 20 March 1916 in Monroe County, WI. He died on 9 September 2008 at the age of 92 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.

Obituary Notes: "Gerald “Baldy” Alderman, age 92, of Tomah, WI, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2008, at his home. He was born on March 20, 1916, to Fred and Jeanette “Nettie” (McCauley) Alderman, near Tomah, WI. He was united in marriage to LaVera Maly.

Baldy owned and operated the Alderman’s Standard service station for over 30 years. Following retirement, he took a position as caretaker for Tomah Recreation Park for over 16 years. He was a charter member of the Knights of Columbus. He was an avid Milwaukee Braves, Milwaukee Brewers and Green Bay Packer fan. He was also a loyal fan of Warren Spahn.

He is survived by his son, Ronald Alderman of Tomah; grandchildren, Chas, Stacey, Steve, Cami (Kevin O’Laughlin), Brian, Dale, Jacob and Jordan; two great-grandchildren, Chase and Taylor; a son-in-law, Charles Sr.; and daughter-in-law, Holly; a sister, Ruth; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; six brothers and sisters; his wife, LaVera; his daughter, Maxine Bruder; his son, Kevin Alderman; a grandson, Bruce; and a granddaughter-in-law, Kathy.

The Torkelson Funeral Home of Tomah is assisting with private family services. Fellowship and a Celebration of Baldy’s Life will be held on Saturday, Sept. 13, 2008, at 2 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 202 E. Juneau St, Tomah. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Tomah Hospice Touch."
He was buried on 13 September 2008 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI. in the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.

Gerald Clarence "Baldy" ALDERMAN and LaVera MALY were married. LaVera MALY was born in 1917. She died in 1976 at the age of 59. She was buried in 1976 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI. in the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
