Veva Gwendoline KENYON (`) (~) was born on 14 April 1918 in Duluth, St. Louis County, MN.^22,78 She appeared in the census in 1930 in Greenfield Township, Monroe County, WI.⁴³ She graduated in 1936 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI. from Tomah High School. Veva died on 1 December 1995 at the age of 77 in La Crosse, La Crosse County, WI.^65,78

Obituary Notes: "Veva G. Kenyon, 77, of Tomah, passed away Friday, Dec. 1, 1995, at Lutheran Hospital in La Crosse (she actually passed away in the ambulance between Tomah and La Crosse of a heart aneurysm). She was born April 14, 1918, to Charles and Harriet (Shookman) Kenyon in Duluth, Minn. Veva retired in 1980, after managing the VA Credit Union for 26 years.

She is survived by two sons, Robert (Jill) Von der Ohe of Rockford, Ill. and John (Colleen) Stillwell of Wausau; two daughters, Linda (Joel) Lange of Walden, NY, and Cynthia (Guy) Bradbury of Eagle River; two step-daughters, Mary (Bernard) Johnson of Janesville and Sybil Stillwell of Madison; three brothers, Glenn (Deloris) Kenyon of Sparta, Kyle (Xena) Kenyon of Tomah and James (Bernice) Kenyon of Titusville, Fla.; two sisters, Helen Kelley of Tomah and Kathleen Von Fumeti of Dubuque, Iowa; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Doris Hart and Jeanette Storkel, and one step-daughter, Melissa (Stillwell) Anderson.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Dec. 5, 1995, at 10 A.M. at the White Funeral Home in Tomah." She was buried on 5 December 1995 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.^66,78 in the LaGrange Township Cemetery.

Veva Gwendoline KENYON (`) (~) and Gale Robert VON DER OHE were married on 14 January 1940.¹⁴ Gale Robert VON DER OHE, son of Adolph Gustar VON DER OHE and Clara Wilhelmine GADE, was born on 22 August 1916 in West Salem, La Crosse County, WI.⁸⁰ He died on 25 July 1954 at the age of 37 in Sparta, Sparta Township, Monroe County, WI.⁸⁰
