Fred appeared in the census in 1900 in Greenfield Township, Monroe County, WI.³⁸ He appeared in the census in 1910 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.⁶² His household was on Monroe Street in the 2nd Ward and his occupation was listed as "Laboror, Com. Laborer." His surname was spelled "Prelib." Living with him were his 2nd wife, Gusta, age 47, and his step-sons, Carl and Herbert Erdman.
