"Bev" TROWBRIDGE, daughter of Douglas TROWBRIDGE and Evelyn QUAM, was born on 19 February 1929 in Byron Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁸⁷ She died on 17 July 2014 at the age of 85 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁸⁷

Obituary Notes: "Mrs. Dayton (Beverly J.) Sowle, 85, of Tomah passed away Thursday, July 17, 2014, at her home in Tomah. She was born Feb. 19, 1929, to Douglas and Evelyn (Quam) Trowbridge in the town of Byron near Wyeville, Wis. Bev was a 1946 graduate of Tomah High School.

Bev was united in marriage to Dayton Sowle, June 1, 1947; the first marriage to take place at the New American Lutheran Church, which became Gloria Dei. She was known for her cooking and baking, especially her pies and specialty Norwegian dishes. Bev also enjoyed gardening, reading, camping, gambling and horse racing. She was a dedicated active member of her church.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Dayton Sowle; her daughter, Vicki (Jim) Coleman of Mosinee, Wis., and their children, Jaimi (Jason) Hoernke and their son, Brexton of River Falls, Wis., Jodi (Phill) Oettinger and their children, Keta and Keaton of Rothschild, Wis., Juli (Nate) Birkenmeier and their child, Addyson of Weston, Wis., her daughter Debbie (Kelly) Clark of Tomah and their children, Tim (Jannette) Clark and their children, Cindy Puerto, Justin (Rita) Clark and Taylor Clark of Tomah, Bridgette (Dirk) Winfield and their children, Brooke Delaney and Brandon Winfield of Tomah, Travis (Megan) Clark and their children, Dylan, Olivia and Madelyn Clark of Stoughton, Wis., Samantha (Joe) Tokarz and daughter, Elizabeth Connor of Tomah, her daughter, Peggy Sowle of Tomah; her brother, Donald (Anna) Trowbridge; sisters-in-law, Darlene Trowbridge and Bev Ann Sowle; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Douglas and Evelyn; a son, Terry Sowle; and a brother, Dale Trowbridge.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 19, 2014, at 2 p.m. at Peace Lutheran Church in Tomah. Pastor Sue Sheffer-Meyer will officiate. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery."

Peggy Ann SOWLE was born on 14 February 1953 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁸⁸ She died on 16 November 2015 at the age of 62 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁸⁸ Obituary Notes: "Peggy Ann Sowle, 62, of Tomah passed away Monday, Nov. 16, 2015, at her home. She was born Feb. 14, 1953, to Dayton and Beverly (Trowbridge) Sowle in Tomah. Peggy adored her poodle, Katie, as well as spending time with her exercise friends at Everfit and going camping. Above all, she loved spending time with her family. She especially loved her nieces and nephews, whom said she gave the world’s greatest hugs. Peggy also loved watching horse races with her dad. She will be dearly missed by many.
