Arthur appeared in the census in 1930 in Spokane, Spokane County, WA.⁶ He was a "Boarder" and his occupation was "Collector, Telephone Company." He appeared in the census in 1940 in Tacoma, Pierce County, WA.²³ His occupation was "Assistant Manager, Commercial Department, Telephone Company." He died in October 1988 at the age of 82 in Redmond, King County, WA.
