2. Daniel G. "Dan" O'SHEA was born in February 1864 in Bantry Bay, County Cork, Ireland.^2,3,4 He emigrated in 1880 from Ireland.^3,4,5 (The 1900 Census listed his emigration year as 1880 and indicated that he had been America for 20 years. Later census records listed his emigration year as 1881.) He appeared in the census in 1900 in Red Lodge, Carbon County, MT.⁴ He was a "Boarder" in the household of Thomas and Barbara Pollard and his occupation was "Coal Mine Manager." Dan appeared in the census in 1910 in Red Lodge, Carbon County, MT.³ His household was at 723 Hauser Avenue and his occupation was "Banker, State Bank."

He appeared in the census in 1920 in Spokane, Spokane County, WA.⁵ His household was at South 933 Monroe and his occupation was "President, Federal Land Bank." He died before June 1930 at the age of 66 in Spokane, Spokane County, WA.⁶ His wife was listed as a Widow in the 1930 Census.

Daniel G. "Dan" O'SHEA and Eleanor L. CAVENAGH were married on 21 June 1901 in Chicago, Cook County, IL.^3,7 Eleanor L. CAVENAGH⁷ was born in July 1866 in Ireland.^3,7,8 She emigrated in 1890 from Ireland.^3,5,8 (The various census records list her emigration year as 1888, 1889 or 1890.) She appeared in the census in 1900 in Chicago, Cook County, IL. She was a "Lodger" in the household of Orissa Carpenter and her occupation was "Nurse." Eleanor appeared in the census in 1910 in Red Lodge, Carbon County, MT.³ (Her sister, Elizabeth, age 35, occupation "Music Teacher," was living with them.) She appeared in the census in 1920 in Spokane, Spokane County, WA.⁵ She appeared in the census in 1930 in Spokane, Spokane County, WA.⁶ She was a Widow and was living at 933 17th Avenue with her children, Daniel and Eleanor. Eleanor appeared in the census in 1940 in Seattle, King County, WA.⁹ Her household was on West Highland Drive, and she lived alone.
