Descendants of Ole Christ Olsen

Ole Christ Olsen and his wife, Martha Thompson, were born in Norway in the early-1800's.

Their son Hans emigrated to America and married Alice Mary Schermerhorn in 1905 in Angelo Township. They had three children who married into the Grant, Bartels and Thayer families.
They are the earliest-known ancestors of many of the Olsen and Olson families in Monroe County.
