Descendants of Jacob Paeth (Peth)

Jacob Paeth and his wife, Katarina Reetz, were born in Prussia in early-1800's. They had five children who emigrated to Monroe County.

One son, Karl “Charles” Paeth and his wife, Lena Pasch, were born in Prussia in about 1840. They and their two oldest daughters emigrated to America in about 1871. Eleven more children were born in Wisconsin, and they married into families such as Wappler, Grill and von Haden.

Two other sons, August and Henry, also had descendants in Wisconsin.
