71. Anita Ann PELOQUIN (+) was born on 20 August 1931 in Chippewa Falls, Chippewa County, WI.²⁹ She died on 25 August 2021 at the age of 90 in Marshfield, Wood County, WI.¹⁴ Obituary Notes: "Anita A. Andress, 90, of Chippewa Falls, went home to her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at Marshfield Medical Center in Marshfield, WI surrounded by her loving family. Anita was born August 20, 1931 in Chippewa Falls, the daughter of Frank and Anna (Normand) Peloquin. She graduated from McDonell High School.

Those who knew Anita would know that she not only lived a fulfilled life but lived her life serving others. She was a mother to seven boys, and practiced patience and unconditional love daily, as you can imagine with that many boys. Anita was a kind mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and most importantly, friend.

On August 1, 1953, Anita married Archie W. Andress at Holy Ghost Church in Chippewa Falls. Anita and her husband Archie raised their family on the southside of Chippewa Falls. Their love and commitment to each other set an example to their boys, who went on to raise amazing families of their own. The Andress family is rooted in relationships because of the seed Anita planted for those she loved.

Anita was strong in her faith and was proud to be a lifelong member of Holy Ghost, where she was baptized, celebrated her first communion, confirmed her faith and married her husband. Anita was active in the lives of her children and husband, ensuring that they all felt her devotion growing up. It was when her youngest son went to kindergarten that she went to work at Chippewa Manor then later St. Joseph's Hospital in the food service department.

She loved to play cards and enjoyed teaching her grandchildren card games. She patiently spent hours explaining the rules and reminding the kids to maybe talk a little less so that the game could keep moving. In the end, her seriousness and passion to play cards was what created an unbreakable bond between her and her many grandchildren.

Anita is survived by seven sons: Bradley (Rochelle) of Eau Claire, Gary (Kristine) of Hopedale, MA, Timothy (Vaune) of Hancock, MI, Allen (Janet) of Bedford, TX, Paul (Joanne) of Colgate, WI, Gregory (Christine) of Spartanburg, SC and Jay (Jennifer) of Houlton, WI; two sisters: Lois Hofkes of Chippewa Falls, and Verlene Sydejko of Glendale, CA; one brother, Bruce (Nancy) Peloquin of Eau Claire; two brothers-in-law: Duane Mittelstadt, and Raymond (Patricia) Andress both of Chippewa Falls; 25 grandchildren: Lindsey, Braden, Kyle, Anna, Reid, Dane, Eric, Elliott, Maria, Sister Teresa of Jesus (Michaeline), Kateri, John, Gabriel, Gianna, Marianna, Jacob, Jessica, Peter, Anthony, Michaela, Thomas, Elijah, Zachary, Benjamin, and Hannah; 16 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

Anita was preceded in death by her husband, Archie on November 29, 2004; her parents; three brothers, Norman, Dale and Wayne Peloquin; three sisters: Elaine Tandberg, Delores Muldoon and Betty Lou Mittlestadt; and two grandsons: Ross Andress and Isaac Andress.

Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon on Friday, September 3 at Holy Ghost Church in Chippewa Falls. The Very Rev. Jesse Burish will be celebrant of the funeral Mass. Interment will be in Hope Cemetery in Chippewa Falls.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, September 2nd, and from 10:30a.m. until 11:30 a.m. on Friday at the Horan Funeral Home in Chippewa Falls. There will be a Christian vigil service at 7 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home." Her confirmation name is Marie.

Anita Ann PELOQUIN (+) and Archie Wallace ANDRESS (+) were married on 1 August 1953 in Chippewa Falls, Chippewa County, WI.³⁰ Archie Wallace ANDRESS (+), son of Harrison James ANDRESS and Ruth May ANDERSON, was born on 22 September 1927 in Ogema, Price County, WI.^28,30,31 He appeared in the census in 1930 in Ashland, Ashland County, WI.³² He appeared in the census in 1940 in Ashland, Ashland County, WI.³³ Archie appeared in the census in 1950 in Tilden, Chippewa County, WI.²⁷ He died on 29 November 2004 at the age of 77 in Chippewa Falls, Chippewa County, WI.^28,30 Obituary Notes: "Archie W. Andress, 77, of 516 Maitland Drive, Chippewa Falls, died Monday, Nov. 29, 2004, with his family at his side.

He was born on Sept. 22, 1927, in Ogema, to Harrison and Ruth (Anderson) Andress. He spent his youth in Ashland before moving to Chippewa Falls. Archie married Anita Peloquin on Aug. 1, 1953, at Holy Ghost Church, Chippewa Falls. He was a meat cutter in the Chippewa Falls area for over 40 years. He was a member of the American Legion Post #77 and Holy Ghost Church.

He is survived by his wife; seven sons, Bradley (Rochelle) of Suamico, Gary (Kristine) of Hopedale, Mass., Timothy (Vaune) of Hancock, Mich., Allen (Janet) of Bedford, Texas, Paul (Joanne) of New Brighton, Minn., Gregory (Christine) of Woodruff, S.C. and Jay (Jennifer) of Chippewa Falls; one brother, Raymond (Patricia) of Chippewa Falls; one sister, Beverly (Gary) Cramer of Kalamazoo, Mich.; 22 grandchildren, Lindsey, Ross, Braden, Kyle, Anna, Reid, Dane, Eric, Elliott, Maria, Michaeline, Kateri, John, Gabriel, Gianna, Jacob, Jessica, Peter, Anthony, Zachary, Benjamin, and Hannah.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; one brother, Allen Andress; and one grandson, Isaac Andress.

Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon on Thursday, Dec. 2 at Holy Ghost Church, Chippewa Falls, with Rev. Edmund Doerre as Celebrant of the Funeral Mass. Interment will be in Hope Cemetery, Chippewa Falls. Military Rites will be conducted by the Chippewa Falls Patriotic Council at the services. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 1 at the Horan Funeral Home, Chippewa Falls. There will be a Christian Vigil Service at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Archie shared his love of the outdoors with his family. He looked forward to his annual fishing and hunting trips with his sons and grandchildren. Grandpa Archie will forever be remembered for his many stories around the campfire and the love he had for his family."

He was buried on 2 December 2004 in Chippewa Falls, Chippewa County, WI.^17,30 in the Hope Cemetery.
