Descendants of Michael Prechel

Michael Prechel and his wife, Marianne “Marie” Duesterhoft, were born in the Posen Province of Prussia in the early-1800’s.

Two of their sons, Karl “August” and Gustav Julius, emigrated to America and settled in Ridgeville Township. August married Henriette Ottilie “Hattie” Roedel and they had six children. Gustav married Pauline Bertha Zirke and they had eight children.

The grandchildren of Michael and Marie married into families such as Langfeldt, Lueck, Von Haden and Doxrud.
