79. Judy D. PROTZ was born on 24 September 1946 in Sparta, Sparta Township, Monroe County, WI.⁷² She died on 11 July 2014 at the age of 67 in Madison, Dane County, WI.⁷²

Obituary Notes: "Judy D. (Protz) Miller, 67, of Lake Mills, and formerly of Fort Atkinson and Tomah died Friday, July 11, 2014 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison. She was born Sept. 24, 1946, to Douglas and Marguerite (Kensel) Protz at Sparta.

She was a member of the Tomah Senior High School graduating class of 1964. Afterwards she attended business school in Milwaukee. She was united in marriage to Keith Miller, Nov. 28, 1986, in Janesville. Judy worked as a floral designer for Southgate Floral in Jefferson until her retirement. She lived in Fort Atkinson for many years before moving to Lake Mills in January of 2013.

Judy and Keith liked to travel, they took many road trips out west, and road trips to Biloxi was her favorite. One year they drove to the Gulf of Mexico eight times. They loved to spend time with each other and met many friends along the way. Her greatest joy was spending time with family, especially her grandchildren. Judith was a soft-spoken and caring person who will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved her.

She is survived by her husband, Keith; her mother, Marguerite; three sons, Keith, Scott (Lisa) and Christopher; three daughters, Kim, Kathy (Kevin) and Lynn (Mike); 15 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Douglas; her brother, Lauren Protz; two sisters-in-law, Carol Protz and Marilyn Downs.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. today at Sonnenburg Family Funeral Home, 801 Monowau St. E., Tomah. Burial will be in Wyeville Cemetery."
