Clara Amanda SCHULZ and Wilhelm August "William" FUCHS Sr. were married on 23 April 1919.^11,16,17 Wilhelm August "William" FUCHS Sr., son of Franz Wenzel FUCHS and Maria Sophia KELLER, was born on 19 May 1892 in Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.^24,25,26 (He later changed his name to Fox.) He was baptized on 19 June 1892 in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI.²⁵ at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church. He was confirmed on 24 March 1907 in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI.²⁶ at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church. William appeared in the census in 1910 in Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.⁸ He lived at his home in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI in October 1949.¹⁷ He died on 7 October 1953 at the age of 61.^17,24 William was buried in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.²⁴ in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
